HOTEL CONTACT INFORMATION

The meeting is being held at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort and Spa from November 7-10, 2007. For full information about the venue, please access the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort and Spa website (website will open in another window). Accommodation during the course of the meeting will also be at the Waikiki Beach Marriott. If you need to check-in prior to Wednesday, November 6 or check-out after Saturday, November 10 you will need to make your own hotel reservation for the extra nights. Please call the Marriott at 808-922-6611 (ask for the Room Reservations department) during normal business hours H.S.T.

TRANSPORTATION

The Waikiki Beach Marriott is located 10 miles from Honolulu Airport (HNL). Traveling time between the Honolulu Airport and the Marriott is about 20-25 minutes; taxis cost approximately $25. Closer to the meeting time, a document listing the arrival times of all participants will be posted in order to more easily coordinate cab sharing.

Here are some simple driving directions from the Honolulu Airport to the Waikiki Beach Marriott:

Take the H1 Freeway - Eastbound to Honolulu. Exit at King Street (25A). Head toward Kapahulu Avenue, then take a right onto Kapahulu Avenue. Continue approximately two miles, and turn right onto Kuhio Avenue. At the second traffic light, turn left on Ohua Avenue. The hotel is one block on the left.

If your flight is delayed or you encounter other problems during travel, please call the Waikiki Beach Marriott (808-922-6611) and ask them to pass on a message to Cary Kandel.

PRESENTATION INFORMATION

The Marriott offers wireless internet service throughout the entire hotel at $12.99+tax per 24 hour period. You will need a credit card to get access. Posters should be no larger than 4' x 4' (1.22 m x 1.22 m). Please email Cary Kandel (ckandel@bu.edu) if your poster exceeds these dimensions.
