Upcoming MARGINS supported Workshops/TEIs

• Subduction Factory Studies in the Izu-Bonin-Mariana Arc System: Results and Future Plans. November 7-10, 2007, Honolulu, HI. Objectives of the co-sponsored by MARGINS and IFREEworkshop are to: 1) learn what we have discovered about how the IBM subduction factory operates; 2) synthesize results in the context of the MARGINS Subduction Factory Initiative, and 3) integrate MARGINS-SubFac-IBM and IFREE science goals with the objectives of the other research programs, including IODP, studies stimulated by Law of the Sea, and NOAA’s Submarine Ring of Fire efforts.
