With comments on the transition to a successor program

AGU Fall Meeting

Westin Market Street Hotel
, Metropoitan Rm3
50 Third St. (Between Mission and Market)

MARGINS will host a townhall meeting and community forum at the AGU Fall Meeting (details above). The event is open, welcoming participants in MARGINS-funded studies and all others with an interest in the program.

MARGINS chairman Geoff Abers and NSF Program Manager Bilal Haq will start the event at 6pm by discussing the transition to a successor program and the upcoming MARGINS Successor Planning Workshop. A reception will follow at 6:30pm.

Student entrants for the MARGINS Student Presentation Prize are invited to display their posters and discuss their research with event participants. This will be a great opportunity for the students to further share their results and interact with a wide spectrum of MARGINS scientists.

There will be ample time to mingle, with refreshments available. Among those present will be Geoff Abers (MARGINS Chair), members of the MARGINS Steering Committee, and Program Managers for MARGINS from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
